Join a virtual conversation between critically acclaimed, bestselling author, Cristina Henríquez, for a compelling conversation about her work. Henríquez’s newest book, The Great Divide, is a moving exploration of the people who lived, loved, and labored during the construction of the Panama Canal. 

To watch from home, please register at least two days before the event. Illinois Libraries Presents will now take up to two business days to approve registrations. Virtual registrations will close at 5 pm on the day of each event. Those who register to watch events from home after this cutoff time will receive a recording to watch after the live event ends. These terms apply only to those who wish to view from home. Registrants who wish to watch this event in the library may register and attend as usual.
