Event Details
This is a VIRTUAL program, R.F. Kuang will not be here in person. R.F. Kuang’s genre-bending fiction broaches ordinarily serious topics from a satirical and fantastical perspective. Her most recent novel, Katabasis, follows two graduate students as they embark on a journey after the death of their professor, and the screen rights options to the novel were sold before its publication. Kuang’s other bestselling titles include Yellowface, Babel, and The Poppy War trilogy. Kuang is the recipient of several book awards. She is joined in conversation with Kelly Jensen of Book Riot. Register to watch virtually from home or on the big screen in our Meeting Room.
To watch from home, please register at least two days before the event. Illinois Libraries Presents will now take up to two business days to approve registrations. Virtual registrations will close at 5 pm on the day of each event. Those who register to watch events from home after this cutoff time will receive a recording to watch after the live event ends. These terms apply only to those who wish to view from home. Registrants who wish to watch this event in the library may register and attend as usual.
